Jalan Raya Bogor Brightened with LED Street Lamp

Various ways have been provided by City Government to prevent the criminal action in the capital. As one efforts, East Jakarta Administration installed 48 units of street lighting system (PJU) on Jalan Raya Bogor. The installation is aimed to prevent the criminal action and to facilitate the road user who across from GOR Ciracas to Pasar Rebo intersection.

Previously, we install PJU at KBT, now we also install PJU on Jalan Raya Bogor because people demand to improve the lighting in the area

The 48 PJU lamps that will be installed consist of 23 spotlights and 25 LED-type lamps.

Bambang Musyawardana, E. Jakarta Mayor said, the PJU installation on Jalan Raya Bogor is based on public demand. Moreover, Jalan Raya Bogor is one of main road that connects Jakarta and Bogor that should have maximum lighting.

"Previously, we install PJU at KBT, now we also install PJU on Jalan Raya Bogor because people demand to improve the lighting in the area," said Bambang, Sunday (1/25).

Musyawardana continued, he hoped the criminal action and PSK (sex worker) existence can be prevented at the area by this PJU installation.

Head of East Jakarta Industry and Energy sub-dept. Tuti Kurnia added, both of lamps have power of 400 watt each. While for the installation, her side deployed 30 officers using 1 hydraulic cars and 3 manual stairs.

Futhermore, Tuti continued, if there are citizens who need PJU installation, please report it directly to the E. Jakarta Industry and Energy sub-dept office.
